Stephanie is a 6th year Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. Her research area is soft robotics, and within that she specializes in stretchable and soft electronics, shape-sensing, and shape-morphing robots. Before starting at Yale, Stephanie received her bachelor’s degree from Boston University, where she discovered her love for research (and Boston). This past summer, she was lucky to have interned at Meta Reality Labs as a research scientist, and is a NASA Fellow.
