Stephanie is a 4th year Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. Her research area is soft robotics, and within that she specializes in stretchable and soft electronics, shape-sensing, and shape-morphing robots. Before starting at Yale, Stephanie received her bachelor’s degree from Boston University, where she discovered her love for research (and Boston).
In her free time, she takes dance lessons of all kinds, sings Broadway tunes in the car, and is attempting to learn to mountain bike. She also has a passion for eating, but unfortunately not for cooking, and would one day like to go on a sea kayaking adventure.
