Janis Jin is a 2L at Yale Law School. She is a Grace Hopper alum (HC ‘20) and was a student in the college when it was renamed from Calhoun to Hopper in 2017. As an undergraduate student, she majored in English and wrote about art, culture, and politics for BRINK!, DOWN Magazine, and the Yale Herald. She also worked at the Asian American Cultural Center and played French horn in the brass ensemble Coup de Brass.
Janis is from Irvine, California. She enjoys biking on the canal trail, playing pickleball at Scantlebury Park, and traveling in China.
