Fardouza Farah (she/her) is an Ethnicity, Race, and Migration major from Owatonna, Minnesota, born in Cape Town, South Africa, and proudly ethnically Somali. On campus, she led the Yale Black Muslim Students Association and was a Communication and Consent Educator (CCE). Her niche is that she’s very passionate about the intersections of migration and reproductive care. From fieldwork on climate migration in Angola and working at MN immigration law firms to being on the founding team at a fem-tech startup developing a non-hormonal birth control option she works to create holistic systems of care for particularly refugee women. When she’s not overspending on matcha or gaslighting herself into thinking MOTW is a workspace, she’s watching reality TV, playing 2010s phone games, or laughing too loudly in public. She’s beyond excited to meet the class of 2029, and can’t wait to get to know you all!
