Brenda is a Cognitive Science major from Kericho, Kenya, pursuing certificates in Data Science and Education Studies with a passion for bridging educational gaps in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). On campus, she stays busy working at the Student Technology Collaborative, researching in a Linguistics lab, teaching, and participating in African student organizations. Outside of academics, Brenda loves traveling, exploring new adventures, and working with kids. She is always ready to help you find rewarding local volunteering gigs and is incredibly excited to welcome the new frosh and help you find your footing at Yale!
