Amara Neal (she/her) is a Theater, Dance, & Performance Studies and Economics double major; she’s also pursuing her Master’s in Public Health through the B.A./M.P.H. program. She’s so excited to talk about everything public health, but right now, she’s most interested in housing inequity, syringe exchange programs, and infectious disease! Amara was born & raised in Arizona. But, she went to a boarding school in Massachusetts…all because of a middle school crush (ask her about it!). Outside of her classes, she’s been involved in Yale theater as an actress, choreographer, and director, comedy (Yay Purple Crayon and Red Hot Poker!), dance (Yay Rhythmic Blue!), and the Yale Sustainable Food Program (Yay Harvest!). Amara loves a good hobby, so catch her in Hopper’s pottery studio, taking long walks in nature, and (of course) yapping with her friends on Cross-Campus! She’s so excited to meet you all, so welcome to the Class of 2029!
