Amara Neal (she/her) is a second-year at the Yale School of Public Health through the 5-year BA/ MPH program. That means Amara was a student and a FroCo in Hopper just last year! As an undergrad, Amara majored in Theater, Dance, & Performance Studies and Economics; now she specializes in research and activism regarding homelessness, substance use/ harm reduction, housing equity, and shelter policy. Outside of the classroom, you can find Amara acting at the Yale Cabaret, writing jokes, dancing with Rhythmic Blue, going to Elena’s, and talking to herself on long walks!
